There is a remarkably-wide variety of options for dairy-free milk, and many are available at your usual grocery store. Rice milk, soymilk, and almond milk are three popular alternatives to traditional dairy products.

Most mainstream supermarkets usually carry rice and soy milk, so it shouldn’t be too difficult for dieters to find these types of milk. Alternative milks such, as oat milk and potato milk are usually more difficult to find. You would have to look at natural foods stores if you were interested in buying either oat milk or potato milk.

I know many dieters who substitute soymilk or rice milk in place of regular milk. If you don’t like the taste of soymilk and you really can’t stomach any of the other milk substitutes, then you might consider switching to skim milk instead.

Dieters who do decide to opt for milk substitutes are usually pleased to learn that they come in a variety of flavors. If plain old soy milk leaves a bad taste in your mouth, you can opt for vanilla or chocolate instead.

Non-Dairy Desserts

Frozen desserts made from soy milk and rice milk are also possible options for dieters, but keep in mind that they are still high in calories. You can usually find these yummy desserts in the health section of your local grocery store.

Of course, dieters need to remember that they should give any milk substitute time before deciding whether or not they like it. Some of these products take some getting used to and as time goes on, you might learn to like them.
